These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of SMS Tutorial ("smstutorial.in") and our companion mobile apps. Please read them carefully before using our educational platform.

1 Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account, logging into, browsing, or accessing smstutorial.in or our mobile applications, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use or access the platform.
2 Platform Eligibility
SMS Tutorial is an educational platform intended for students, teachers, and educational administrators. If you are under the age of 18, you represent that you are accessing the platform with the consent and supervision of a parent, legal guardian, or authorized educational institution.
3 User Account Roles & Verification
The platform supports three specific account roles:
• Student Accounts: Created by self-registration. Allows access to enrolled subjects, video player, quizzes, assignments, and live classes.
• Teacher Accounts: Requires registration and admin approval (`status = pending` until verified). Teachers can schedule live classes, upload video lectures, post assignments, and write test series.
• Administrator Accounts: Granted to authorized platform managers for syllabus architecture, teacher approvals, moderation, and system settings.
4 Account Credentials & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (email, password, and OTP codes). You must notify us immediately at support@smstutorial.in if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account. Account sharing or allowing third parties to access paid subscription content using your credentials is strictly prohibited.
6 Prohibited Activities & Academic Integrity
Users must maintain academic honesty and respectful behavior. You expressly agree NOT to:
- Share, resell, redistribute, or publicly post premium video lectures, notes, or test questions.
- Engage in unauthorized screen recording, scraping, or automated extraction of platform content.
- Attempt to bypass subscription paywalls or access controls (`CoursePolicy` / `VideoPolicy`).
- Cheats or impersonate another user during live webinars or interactive MCQ test attempts.
- Post abusive, offensive, defamatory, or objectionable content in live chat streams or video comments.
- Upload malicious scripts, viruses, or harmful file attachments to assignment submissions.
7 Educational Content & Intellectual Property
All platform code, branding, logos, video players, whiteboard canvas features, and curated course syllabus structures are the intellectual property of SMS Tutorial or its content licensors.
User-Submitted Content: Teachers retain ownership of original study material uploaded by them, but grant SMS Tutorial a non-exclusive license to host, transcode, display, and stream the content to enrolled students.
9 Live Virtual Classrooms & MCQ Tests
Live classes utilize LiveKit WebRTC streams and real-time canvas whiteboards. Attendance is automatically logged upon joining a room. Users must conduct themselves professionally in live chat forums. Automated MCQ test results and leaderboard standings are generated based on submitted test responses.
11 Payments, Subscription Plans & Refunds
Subscription plans (Basic, Premium, Pro) grant feature access for specified monthly billing periods. Payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) via Razorpay.
Refund Policy: All subscription fee payments are non-refundable once plan activation occurs, except where explicitly required by mandatory consumer protection laws in India. If you experience a billing error or duplicate transaction, please contact support@smstutorial.in within 7 days of the transaction.
13 Service Availability & Offline Video Downloads
We strive for maximum uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted platform access. Maintenance, server upgrades, or third-party network outages (e.g., streaming server maintenance) may temporarily impact service availability. Offline video downloads cached in browser storage are provided for convenience and remain restricted to authorized active accounts.
14 Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend (`status = deactivated`) or terminate any account without prior notice if we determine that the user has violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, shared credentials, or attempted to compromise system security.
15 Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SMS Tutorial and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform.
Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Manipur, India.
